Articles on plants, environment and gene expression

Below are several articles describing how various environmental factors alter gene expression in Arabidopsis thaliana. For this experiment we will focus on two experimental treatments: filtered visible light (to remove some portion of the visible spectrum), and exposure to UV light. We have to decide on the details of these two treatments. For example, what filter will we use for visible light, and what kind of UV exposure will we use, and for how long?

Different wavelengths of light

Drought and heat stress

Other studies with multiple stressors

Phosphate starvation

Strong light conditions (which can produce reactive oxygen species and lead to oxidative damage)

Sulfur starvation
