Similar to the Roman Agricultural Technology section, we will look at the primary sources of Islamic agricultural writers from the late medieval period.  Unfortunately, not as many are translated into English, so there will be fewer to go around (however, anyone who knows Spanish will have access to many more, or Arabic?  That'd be great...)  Regardless, we will look at similar questions and talk about their sources, their updates to the technology and how they employed the technology at their disposal.  A sub-topic could be looking at the pleasure gardens in Spain of which many of these writers were appointed head gardener.
