Midterm Self-Assessment

As we enter the sixth full week of the semester, take some time to reflect on your participation and progress in this course thus far.

Using the participation guidelines created by the class (available on the courses site), examine your own daily participation.  Talk about the strengths and weaknesses of the way you've been participating, and then set some goals for deepening your participation.

Write also about your technical and artistic progress.  What aspects of your dancing are more "in tune" now than at the start of the semester?  What do you want to work on more?  Revisit the goal(s) that you turned in a few weeks ago.  How have you been working towards what you desire in your dancing?  Have you experienced any progress yet? What next steps can you take towards these goals?  Do you have any new goals?

Your written self-assessment should be 2-3 pages in length, double-spaced.  Self-assessments are due by email on Monday February 28.  It is important that you turn your assignment in on time so that it can be assessed before mid-term grades are due.
