Language Autobiography instructions.
Look over the activities that we have done, related to your linguistic background and development (timeline, family language chart/border crossings chart of your language learning) consider also your reading (Snow) and the discussions we’ve had in class.
Write a 2-3 page autobiography based on what you’ve learned about yourself as language learner, focusing on the languages you have learned, how you learned them, what affected that learning and how this affected your view of yourself and your identity.
You may find it useful to focus on one of the individual activities we did (e.g. timeline or chart) as a means of organizing your writing.
This is due before class on Monday Sept 10th. Please send in by email or through Moodle.
